The Plantronics BackBeat Go is a compact wireless stereo headset that sounds decent
Is attractively designed
And is reasonably priced.
The lightweight
Reasonably priced Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 wireless stereo headset improves upon the Go 1
With better sound quality and a sweatproof design
The step-up BackBeat Go 2 + Charging Case includes a protective case that has a built-in batter
Comfortable. Lightweight. Excellent voice quality and noise suppression in both directions. Tangle-free cord really works. Clear midrange and high-end when listening to music.
The editors didn't like
Music playback quality is decent
But not amazing – exhibited highs
But the low end is lacking
Battery life isn't great (4.5 hours)
Buttons on the inline remote are small
And the LED that indicates when the device is on or in pairing mode is tiny.
No carrying case included unless you buy the BackBeat Go 2 + Charging Case ($20 more)
Ultra-soft earbud tips make it difficult to get the right fit. Some cable thump when walking. Thin bass response

Bluetooth uses the A2DP profile for stereo music, and the BackBeat Go has the same. The compression this profile uses is a so-called subband codec, which is a relatively simple compression routine with a quality level comparable to Mpeg-1 layer II (mp3 ...
Decent sound balance, Good comfort and overall design, Decent value
Bass a little lightweight, Earpieces are large, Mediocre battery life
The Plantronics BackBeat Go wireless Bluetooth earphones maximise the benefits of going wires-free with a compact design that features little more than a pair of earpieces tied together. They're comfortable and stick in the ears effectively enough to use...
But for us, the Plantronics BackBeat Go was a nice headset, compared with the other reviewed models. We thought that the looks were much more attractive that what we've seen up until then. Also, the performance in was pretty much-spot for the majority of...

Comfortable, Great call quality, Easy to use
Bass response is lacking, Volume is too low on certain devices
At $99.99 the Plantronics BackBeat Go is a fantastic Bluetooth headset. It handles basic functions like phone calls and pairing amazingly. And the fact that it charges via micro-USB in around two and a half hours and boasts a talk time of about four and a...
