The editors didn't like

  • Uncomfortable side buttons with shallow tactile feedback
  • Okay battery life

  • 16GB of internal storage really comes to about 11GB
  • And no microSD card slot limits storage options
  • The Verdict
  • I would recommend this phone to anybody who
  • Lower-end processor. Middling reception. No memory card slot or removable battery. Heavy Android skin might not suit everyone's taste
  • Below-average battery life
  • Not fastest phone in class
  • Too many AT&
  • T apps
  • The diet version of the One has 16GB of internal storage with no option to expand

  •  16GB internal storage
  • Non-expandable
  •  no NFC (and no IR blaster)
  •  non-user-removable battery
  • As neither a premium nor cheap 4.3inch device
  • The HTC One presents better value for money. The "Ultrapixel" camera is still disappointing
  • More so without OIS.
  • Non-interchangeable battery
  • Memory expansion via SD card not possible
  • Only 1GB RAM
  • High buying price
  • Faint display of self-taken photographs

  • One styling on a smaller scale, Great screen, Good camera for the money
  • Short battery life, Only available at 16GB, Not actually very mini
  • To cut the size and cut the price of the One, HTC obviously also had to cut the specs, and by and large we think its snips are spot-on. The screen - while smaller - is lovely and crisp, and the power - while lower - is more than enough for all but the mos...

  • The HTC One mini is one of the best mid-range phones in the market right now. It features the same great body and finish of the HTC One, and it also features BoomSound ad the same Ultrapixel technology seen on the bigger flagship device. There are comprom...

  • Abstract:  I own a HTC One and have been using one for months. I love it, and I'm proud to say the money I spent on it was worth it. But that's not to say I'm a HTC fanboy, for I have used phones from various brands (including Apple's!) in the last five years. Last ...

  • Following our 2014 Flagships shootout, we decided something was lacking. Not everyone can afford flagship phones, or simply are more budgetconscious, and so we've decided to launch our second shootout for 2014 smartphones: midrange offerings, Most people

  • Each device has its own strengths and weaknesses here. The S4 mini has a removable battery, the One mini looks impossibly gorgeous, the Xperia SP is properly fast, the Optimus F5 is really cheap, and the Lumia 625 is a very good alternative to Android sma...

  • Abstract:  As its name implies, the HTC One mini is the smaller sibling to the quite stunning-looking HTC One launched earlier this year. It's got some of the good stuff of the bigger brother, such as a great UltraPixel camera, but there are also a number of cost-cut...

  • Abstract:  As you may already know, I use the HTC One as my main phone with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus as my secondary phone. For the next week, I will be attempting to SUBSTITUTE my HTC One with the HTC One Mini. That's right, REPLACING my HTC One. Why? Because I thi...

  • Solid design and build quality, Excellent handling, Great design, HTC Sense 5.0, Zoe
  • Lack of memory card slot, Average image quality, Awkward twobutton layout
  • News of a smaller variant of the One surfaced in May when the device was given the code name M4. The rumors thrilled us quite a bit as we are huge fans of the aluminum unibody chassis of the 4.7-inch HTC One and what's not to like about a smaller and hand...

  • The HTC One Mini is like the name suggests, a mini version of the HTC One. While it has lower specs, the performance of the HTC One Mini does not feel sacrificed. If you were thinking about getting the HTC One but prefer something more in terms of the i...
