Clean design. Good reception. Very bright touch screen. Works over Wi-Fi or EDGE.

And it offers a 2-megapixel camera and good call quality.

The editors didn't like
Poor camera resolution indoors
Poor sound quality
Mobile platform does not support Microsofts latest OS
Not a 3G phone
A few things to remember
Windows Mobile 6.0 might not set well with Apple users
Phone may seem heavier to someone used to using a slim line model
Keyboard still has a tendency to stick
Only has a 200Mhz processor
Nonstandard headphone jack
EDGE only (no UMTS or HSDPA).
Slow connection and processing
Clunky design
No camera flash
No 3G support
Echoey call quality
Flat QWERTY keys
Lackluster 2-MP camera
201Mhz TI OMAP850 processor can be slow
Not enough program memory for all that Windows Mobile 6 offers
Buggy Windows Live applications
No more Email Triggers support
No 3G UMTS/HSDPA
No built in GPS
Same slow processor as the MDA.
The Wing is on the heavier side and is sometimes sluggish when numerous apps are in use. Without the backing of a 3G network
Web browsing and data speeds are on the slower side when compared with the competition.
Slow UI
Wi-Fi doesnt replace slower EDGE networking. System still a bit buggy
We had quite a few crashes. Still lots of menus in WM6.
Abstract: The T-Mobile Wing is a solid replacement for the any HTC Wizard Variant. (T-Mobile MDA/Cingular 8125) When compared to the Wizard, the performance is not a huge increase, but having Windows Mobile 6 and its additions make it a worth the upgrade. If yo...

Abstract: The T-Mobile Sidekick and its almost annual iterations have been a success, but it became exclusively associated with the young and hip around the time Paris Hilton was spotted with one (it may have been diamond-encrusted). Meanwhile, purchasing a Blac...

Abstract: HTC, the manufacturer of T-Mobile’s new Wing smartphone, are like great session players. They blend into the background, laying down syncopation, a few horns, some cowbell, while the carriers — the Otis Reddings of this little analogy — take the spo...
Abstract: When T-Mobile began shipping the Wing (made by the good folks at HTC) just the other day, they earned bragging rights for being the first provider to give us a Windows Mobile-6.0-loaded phone. So how does the gadget hold up? I’ve spent a good deal of t...

The Wing is a great replacement for the MDA. In a time where slim phones are in, the Wing is a monster in size but it is very comfortable at the same time. If using a stylus bothers you, then there is always the iPhone, HTC Touch, Samsung F700, and LG ...
