The player is expensive and defiantly free of built-in streaming features. Picture performance isn't readily distinguishable from players at half the price
HDR
Average battery life
A bit bulky
Lack of a headphone jack is a nuisance
Squeeze feature is a complete gimmick
Not offered by 3 of the 4 major US carriers
Dated look
Noisecanceling earbuds aren't quite as impressive as they could be
Edge Sense feels overengineered (for what could be just a button)
Fancy audiorecording features difficult to appreciate
Battery size and performance don't impress
Substantial bezels
No headphone jack and only proprietary USB-C headphones work
Very slippery in the hand
Attracts fingerprints
Only in Sprint stores
Wireless charging is MIA
Glossy design looks great but is a fingerprint magnet
Lack of 3.5mm audio jack
Edge Sense needs more work
No HDR10 support at launch
No dual camera system
Pricey
HTC loves bezels. No headphone jack
Glass design is slippery and fragile
Battery life could be better
The Sense interface is getting old
SoC throttling under load
MicroSD slot is just average
Doesn't support aptX
Not all functions available when recording video
In some outdoor scenes a slight bluish cast is visible
