  • Slim

The editors didn't like

  • Requires network of people using the app
  • Using Location consistently lowers battery life
  • Maybe a BIT of work on the bluetooth connectivity
  • Especially with having to have that app open at all times
  • Short range
  • Sound isn't loud enough
  • Bluetooth connection unreliable at times
  • Faint alarm sound
  • Vague location estimates in app
  • Device alert is shrill and not quite loud enough
  • Distance indicator isn't always very accurate
  • Requires free TrackR Crowd GPS account
  • Has a nice design
  • But the aluminum casing can get banged up a bit. A bit on the pricey side if you're just buying one
  • It's better to go for the multiple TrackR bravo packs for more value
  • Below-average range
  • Unintuitive app
  • Inconsistent performance from device to device

  • Abstract:  I lose things. Often.Actually, I don't so much lose things as misplace them, whether under a couch cushion, in a jacket pocket, or deep in a backpack I never venture into. It's almost daily, the search for car keys, my smartphone, wallet, or a variety of...

  • If you're trying to choose between the TrackR Bravo and a Tile, chances are you dislike the Tile's disposable nature. But it has a better range than the Bravo and a louder, easier to hear alarm. It's also waterproof so won't stop working if left outside i...
