  • Abstract:  It does have a selection of other features too though: a Windows Mobile OS, MicroSD memory card slot, media player, 1.3 megapixel camera and a decent battery life that should give a good couple of hours of viewing time.

  • Abstract:  There are not many things left that a mobile phone cannot do however this is the first I know that you can watch live TV on, I mean live and not a link via who knows where.

  • Abstract:  TV on your mobile is the next big thing, or so they say. I'm not talking little clips of this and that, either, but full blown live programmes, just as you'd expect to see on an ordinary telly. Virgin Mobile is first out of the starting blocks with real ...

  • Very easy to use
  • Sound and picture quality hit and miss
  • Fifty-inch plasma TVs are a common sight these days, but fashion is towards the tiny with this, the first TV phone to get its pictures from the digital radio network. The service it displays, BT Movio, only started broadcasting in October. Only availabl...

  • Abstract:  Through out this year, mobile TV has been heralded as the future by most major mobile network operators. But even the improved data speed of 3G still isn’t enough to make it into the killer app the networks want it to be. However, Virgin’s Lobs...

  • TV channels are free on contract. Great DAB radio. Competent Windows smartphone.
  • Reception is temperamental. Poor camera. No Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity.
  • The TV-over-DAB trick shows great promise, but this isn’t the phone to deliver it. Early adopters should have a look, but everyone else should stick to watching telly on a PMP or at home ...

  • Abstract:  TV on a mobile, and it works too: There are already plenty of TV-like services for mobiles, delivering various clips and made-for-mobile type materials. But the Lobster 700TV, exclusive to Virgin Mobile, is something different. It is a mobile on which you...

  • Theres no doubt TV on the move is an eye-catcher; the usual Windows Mobile smart phone goodies; good, sharp screen; expandable memory
  • No Wi-Fi; poor camera; memory expansion is under the SIM; chunky design; 2.5mm headset jack; DAB TV and radio dont work on trains
  • The Lobster 700TV is a clever little thing, and its ability to show your favourite soap away from your main TV set is certainly a draw. But its big, heavy, not quite as TV-savvy as it could be, and far from designed for fashion victims ...
