Overly complicated and confusing camera takes a long time to figure out
Movie recording cuts off nearly a second beforethe start/stop button was pressed (easy to work around
But a nuisance nonetheless)
Differences between still and video frame sizes...
No optical viewfinder
No image stabilization
Only average image quality
Big for a mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera
No in-body image stabilization
Expensive
Might be better suited for video than stills
Camera is bulkier than most mirrorless models
Shutter makes a little noise
Even in "mute" mode
Price is high for an easytouse camera
With large 14140mm lens
Camera is heavy
Needs a tripod
Big for a mirrorless interchangeablelens camera
No inbody image stabilization
Featureladen to the point of feeling bloated. Pricey
Annoying AVCHD-imposed limitations for video
No way to lock AF area on touch screen
Middling battery life
Slow continuous shooting when continuous AF is enabled
Live view not available during continuous bursts above 3fps
Noisier images than good APS-C models at high sensitivities
Traditional DSLRs better for low light or fast action photography.
2.5mm mic jack (3.5mm preferred)
Plasticy finish
Image processing from ISO 1600 still leaves detail to be desired

The GH1 was and still is an incredible All-purpose Camera that kicked some serious ass to other big names including Canon or Nikon. The GH2 just proved to us how far ahead Panasonic is in this field. As a GH1 owner I must admit that I struggled to ge...
Autofocus in video mode. Inbuilt stereo audio recording. Great HD video recording
Average quality 14-42mm kit lens. AVCHD video file format cumbersome for film-makers

Like: Image quality is excellent, although we found the lens a little soft and lacking in contrast, a problem we have not encountered with other Panasonic lenses. Video quality, with stereo sound – there is an external mic socket – is superb.
Dislike: The electronic viewfinder is the Achille's heel of this camera. While it is one of the better examples of its type it is still slow and it dulls the responses of the camera. We preferred to use the LCD as a viewfinder, and that being the case we
Great image quality; good build quality and design; great focusing performance in video mode; suitable for any type of photographer
While it's relatively easy to use, the menu system can take a while to get used to; video footage looks choppy if you move the camera too much while filming; auto modes had a tendency to overexpose
The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH2 is a Micro Four Thirds camera that offers a plethora of features for advanced photographers to play with, but it also has an automatic mode so that inexperienced users can also get in on all the fun. Its image quality is great...
