I don't even know where to begin
What I state in my dislikes has to do with the fact that the Ricoh GR III is targeted to such a niche audience. In our original meeting with Ricoh
They showed us how working photographers are using it for more. With that
A lot of money
No tiltable screen or eyelevel viewfinder
No built-in flash
Expensive
Fixed focal length
No viewfinder
No 4K video
Autofocus can be frustrating
No EVF
Strong vignetting if left uncorrected (absent with incamera correction)
Great build quality and style, prime lens, excellent macro performance, vibrant and sharp picture quality
Slightly noisy images, high cost, no built-in optical viewfinder
Small, good looking and stocked with manual features, the Ricoh GR Digital III is capable of taking superb shots and is the perfect point and shoot for a professional or enthusiast photographer. It costs a lot, but its f/1.9 prime lens and overall gre...
Abstract: The GR Digital III is the third model in a successful series of feature-rich digicams for enthusiasts, based on the popular Ricoh GR-series of 35mm film cameras launched in 1996. Acclaimed for their slim, well-designed bodies and functionality, these c...
This camera, in its various forms, has attracted a loyal customer base. Image quality is reliably good. Ricoh is not in the pixel wars, favouring better image quality over pixel numbers. Ricoh compacts have gained a reputation for responsiveness. We ...
With todays smartphone cameras being so good, you might be under the impression that the compact camera has run its course and no longer has reason to exist. Premium compact camera manufacturers like Ricoh have been forced to look at ways to differentiat...

Very good detail in images, Effective Shake Reduction system, Very fast operation, Tiny, rugged body, Low image noise at moderate ISOs
Terrible battery life, Autofocus could be better, Vignetting even at smaller apertures, LCD screen doesn't tilt, Relatively poor video recording
If you're a fan of the GR line you'll love what Ricoh has done here. With fast operation, dependable image quality, a crisp and responsive touchscreen and an even smaller body than before, the GR III has masses going for it. It's not cheap, though, and th...
Abstract: Like a vintage Mazda MX5, the GR III is one for the purists – it's small, fun and still the ideal camera for street photography. But it's not without its limitations and, despite a long list of new features, it does feel a little dated in this fast-moving...

Large APS-C sensor means great quality, Fast aperture with high-quality fixed lens further assures quality, Close-up macro without accessory, Touchscreen controls bring the GR into a far more usable and modern state
Screen gets overly hot in use, No vari-angle LCD screen, Lacks viewfinder, No weather-sealing, Autofocus not fastest on market, New high ISO sensitivities are pointless - far too much image noise
The Ricoh GR III is a compact camera that tugs on those high-end heartstrings. For users familiar with the line-up, this camera will evoke the same feelings of old: it's very particular in use, very focused with its fixed-lens, very capable of delivering...
Abstract: "In development" announcements have recently become popular with camera and lens manufacturers as the way to reassure fans that they're really working on something great after long months (or years) of silence. But Ricoh's announcement that a GR III -- th...
Abstract: A couple of years ago, I waxed lyrical about the Ricoh GR Digital II, a nondescript-looking slip of a thing which nonetheless included the features of many a professional DSLR. Now, unsurprisingly, comes the GR Digital III, which is substantially better a...
