Samsung NX30
A bit expensive compared to competitor
Must buy camera with kit zoom len
JPEGs sometimes have too much contrast and noise reduction
Battery only chargeable incamera
Battery only chargeable in-camera
Limited burst shooting. EVF lags in dim light. On the bulky side. No alternate kit or body only purchase options. Dedicated charger not included
Same sensor as a previous camera
Video record button is placed where it can accidentally be pushed
EVF viewfinder is less big and bright than the optical viewfinder of an SLR
Highest ISO settings are moderate
Battery pack capacity is just sufficient
Screen and EVF prone to lag in low light
Auto ISO limited to 3200 maximum
Default noise reduction leaves noise behind and drains color from scene
On/off switch easily bumped into On position
One proper command dial not as useful as twin dial setup
Good overall performance and image quality, EVF can angle upwards, Plenty of features to play with, including Wi-Fi
No dedicated button to switch off the screen, Doesn't come with a charger, Not weather sealed
Samsung is onto a good thing with the NX30 interchangeable lens camera, but we shouldn't be surprised: NX cameras have been good since the release of the NX10. The NX30 can capture clear and vibrant images, and it has lots of features that allow it to be...
Articulating touchscreen, Great handling, Tilting EVF
Easy to accidentally set focus point, Limited number of lenses, Buttons not customisable
Samsung has struggled to capture the attention of the interchangeable lens camera-buying public in the past few years, despite the fact that many of its cameras produce excellent images. However, the NX30 could possibly the camera to change that. I was ex...

Within the NX system, the NX30 is the best camera you can buy. Unless you're looking for a more rugged, weather sealed camera with advanced controls like the Olympus OM-D E-M1 or the Panasonic Lumix GH4 , the NX30 comes nicely equipped. But, with the NX300...

Picture quality up to 1600 ISO, A very quiet, discreet camera to use, "iFn" button on Samsung's lenses, Touchscreen, Swivel screen, tilt EVF, Easy to use, 1/8000s shutter speed, WiFi and NFC
Can be slow to save photos, Autofocus has trouble holding focus, No standalone battery charger supplied, No headphones socket, AF tends to "pump" in video mode
The NX30 once again proves that Samsung's NX-series APS-C mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras don't have much to envy of market heavyweights. This DLSM is easy to use, comes with a swivel touchscreen, a tilt EVF, and is a very discreet and quiet camer...
High-quality stills and videos, Very good EVF, twisting touchscreen AMOLED screen, Responsive, 9 fps burst mode
Relatively expensive, ISO results not best in class
Like the NX300, we can enthusiastically recommend the NX30 – it's a high-quality CSC that delivers fine results. No question, it's a bit on the expensive side but one mitigating factor is the inclusion of a full copy of Lightroom 5.0 editing software an...
DSLRsized sensor in compact system camera body, adjustable eye level viewfinder and tilting rear panel AMOLED display, wireless connectivity options that are actually usable, intuitive operation, clear and colourful results requiring few tweaks
Nose presses up against backscreen when using eyelevel viewfinder, battery only chargeable incamera
Think that DSLRa are too bulky but like the design and handling? In going head to head with the likes of Panasonic's GH4, Olympus's OM-D, and Fuji's X-T1, this Samsung NX30 is more affordable than its rivals. And if wireless connectivity is important, it'...
Articulating touchscreen, Great handling, Tilting EVF
Easy to accidentally set focus point, Limited number of lenses, Buttons not customisable
It seems like Samsung has finally made a camera which enthusiasts can aspire to own. It's a great camera to use, and crucially, images are fantastic. The NX system is starting to become a more complete package, with a decent, if limited, range of optics ...
