Samsung NX30
A bit expensive compared to competitor
Must buy camera with kit zoom len
JPEGs sometimes have too much contrast and noise reduction
Battery only chargeable incamera
Battery only chargeable in-camera
Limited burst shooting. EVF lags in dim light. On the bulky side. No alternate kit or body only purchase options. Dedicated charger not included
Same sensor as a previous camera
Video record button is placed where it can accidentally be pushed
EVF viewfinder is less big and bright than the optical viewfinder of an SLR
Highest ISO settings are moderate
Battery pack capacity is just sufficient
Screen and EVF prone to lag in low light
Auto ISO limited to 3200 maximum
Default noise reduction leaves noise behind and drains color from scene
On/off switch easily bumped into On position
One proper command dial not as useful as twin dial setup

Re-thought body lay-out, flip-up viewfinder and vibrant rear LCD, versatile Wi-Fi features, i-Function lens system
Plasticky build, slight softening towards frame edges with kit lens, should be available with powered lens kit bundle, wind noise on movies
The Samsung NX30 marks a significant upgrade for the upper-end of Samsung's mirrorless line-up, and is among the most tempting system cameras we've yet tested. Once again the i-Function lens is a highlight and one we'd like to see other manufacturer...
Excellent design, Superb EVF and LCD, Wi-Fi and NFC, Dropbox integration
So-so plastic body, Over-processes JPEGs from ISO 1600
The NX30 combines some neat innovations, an outstanding feature set and smart design to very good effect. The build quality and performance at high ISO is slightly disappointing, but neither should put you off seriously considering the NX30. It's a seriou...
