  • Well, looks like overclockers can take one more liquid-cooling system off their options list. Some of you may have already realized it before the actual tests, but others arrived at this conclusion after reading through our today’s brief article. Do...

  • The CoolIT PURE is a decent, quiet-running cooler, but its performance is only equivalent to a high-end heat sink and fan combo. ...

  • Abstract:  When you want to get the most performance out of your gaming rig, you’ll naturally want to try and overclock it. However, you have to deal with the excess heat put off by your CPU (or whatever component you’re overclocking). One option is to get a bigg...

  • Page 4 of 4 CoolIT PURE CPU Cooler: Ive had the chance in the past to play with the CoolIT Eliminator and Freezone, so when the PURE landed on my test bench I was very interested to see how this new offering would compare. Comparing the Freezone and P...

  • I had my honest doubts that the PURE was going to be overwhelmed by the Quad-Core. You may look at this result and think that 85°C is much too hot to be running your processor at. Purists are quick to state that you need to keep it at a much lower tem...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The CoolIT PURE Liquid CPU Cooler is an excellent all-in-one water cooling solution. This sealed liquid cooling system comes completely configured with the liquid coolant preinstalled. So there's no need for any extra installation like many other liquid cooling kits. By combining the waterblock, pump, radiator and reservoir together, CoolIt has simplified the traditional four-component loop into just one-component. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

  • There are many factors which have to be weighed by the manufacture when designing any water cooling kit, especially when that kit is meant to be a maintenance free unit. On the one hand the fluid has to be stable for long term use and yet still be ther...

  • While measuring the idle CPU temperatures at stock speeds - or overclocked to 3.0GHz - the PURE didn’t really knock my socks off. However, cooling at 100% CPU load is where this cooler really seemed to shine; after all, judging a CPU cooler under id...
