  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Zalman Reserator 2 Water Cooling System is the next installment in the Reserator line. The Reserator V2 is quiet different looking than their pervious Reserator 1, but it has many of the same key features. The exterior of the Reserator 2 is basically a very large aluminum heatsink with many fins. This design works very and will have no problem radiating heat without the use of fans. Being fanless is the big plus with this water cooling setup because it means effective silent cooling. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

  • Let us try to see the second version of Zalman’s liquid cooling system from the point of view of its targeting. The Reserator 2 was developed to cool system case components silently. And it does accomplish that. The pump is perfectly silent inside t...

  • There it is. While not as powerful as a custom water kit from some of the larger water companies, the Reserator performs exceptionally well. It should be mentioned though that it was never Zalman’s aim to supplant the likes of Asetek, Danger Den and...

  • DC power cable too short
  • After removing the user error from the CPU waterblock installation, the Reserator 2 turned out to be an outstanding product and an excellent performer. With any product there is always room for improvement, but Zalman has put together a pretty solid k...

  • Expensive, Time consuming bleed process
  • With the introduction of the Reserator 2, Zalman has taken a great product and made it even better. Theyve addressed a number of issues that I found annoying in the earlier versions and improved the performance dramatically. I like the new look a lo...

  • Abstract:  Zalman’s Reserator is a silent, fanless cooler that needs no introduction. Though we’ve praised the previous versions of this water cooler, Zalman has seen fit to completely redesign the newest Reserator model. And in doing so, it addresses the few is...

  • So I was already really impressed with the first two models of the Reserator (the Reserator 1 and Reserator 1 Plus). And although we can discuss whether you might or might not like the design of the Reserator 2. I must admit its a good-looking and mo...

  • Effective cooling for overclocking, Quiet and efficient
  • Tricky to set up and install
  • Standing on the ground, the Reserator 2 is almost the same size as a PC tower, resembling a portable radiator in both appearance and functionality. Using a liquid cooling cycle, heat is transferred from your CPU and video card to an external box contai...
