  • Cheapest processor out there that overclocks and gives a great performance
  • Loads of motherboards still support this architecture and work well with it too
  • Easy to overclock using multipliers
  • Has tremendous abilities without costing much

The editors didn't like

  • AMD FX series always fares miserably when it comes to single core performance and the FX-6300 is no different
  • Multi-player gaming is not possible on this processor though most games will play well
  • Without a dedicated graphics card
  • You need to invest in
