  • Abstract:  Choosing the right kind of memory for your socket 1156 build is essential, but with such a bewildering array of different manufacturers and specifications on offer knowing where to start can be difficult. This is particularly true if you have been out...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Corsair Dominator PC3-12800 DDR3 Dual Channel 4GB Memory performs very well. It has a speed of 1600MHz, latency of 8-8-8-24 and is 1.65 volts. It even comes with a heatsink to dissipate the heat. Also, when testing this memory I was pleasantly surprised that it worked at 1T.

  • As I expected/hoped, the Corsair Dominator DDR3-1600 i7/i5 memory performed superbly. It overclocked like a champ, and showed significant performance gains in each test. I don’t bother running tests other than memory specific tests, memory is only a...

  • The message here is pretty simple. The more memory bandwidth available, the faster the processor can accomplish number crunching objectives. Data intensive programs that encode, compile, or convert benefit the most. If you’re a gamer, you’re probably...

  • The 4GB Dominator DDR3 Dual Channel kit running at 1600MHz had some stiff competition with both the comparison kits running at 2GHz and above. With just an hour or so tweaking we took the advantage away from the faster kits and showed that with some f...

  • Did the Corsair Dominators live up to the name? Yes, Id say they did. At $130, this set of Corsair Dominators is pretty darn affordable, especially considering a DDR2 1066 kit still costs about $110. If you purchase memory with Dominator in the name,...
