The editors liked

  • No moving parts to break.
  • Kept the laptop and me cool.
  • Portable
  • Helps keep lap cooler
  • Effective at cooling laptops
  • No moving parts and no power source required
  • Easy to transport.

The editors didn't like

  • Heat eventually builds up during constant use.
  • I’d like it if it were a bit more flexible when it’s cold. It’s much easier to roll up after you’ve been using it a while.
  • Noticed no real difference in laptop temperature when using this pad
  • Slick surface does not keep laptop firmly in place.

  • Abstract:  This cooler is more focussed on keeping your laps cool and not the laptop. It is a fabric pad having cooling crystals which absorb heat. You can simply roll it up and stuff it in your bag while travelling which is very portable.

  • Abstract:  Now The Macbook Pro is an amazing machine; extremely powerful and versatile, with a compact design. But as anyone who plays graphics-intensive games on it knows, it also gets hot—I recall one FPS where the graphics card was running so hot that the W k...

  • So I think this pad is a really great idea. There is a lot of potential for heat dissipation technology like this. Even though it didn’t work very well in my tests I recognize that my laptops are probably not the ideal test subjects. If you have a l...
