  • Abstract:  If you're willing to lug an additional pound or three, you can get a much more capable machine that's also easier on your eyes and hands, if not always your pocketbook. Ranging from less than $1,000 to a no-compromises $3,000, these midsize sedans ge...

  • Overall, the Asus N53SV is a very good candidate for a powerful 15-inch laptop with the latest hardware and features at an acceptable price. And even though Asus makes a big deal about the N53SV’s onboard sound, we think the laptop is a revelation as ...

  • Abstract:  For these capable laptops, "purpose" isn't limited to word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations but extends to solid multimedia and gaming capabilities. You'll find plenty of CPU, RAM, storage, and graphics oomph here...

  • Even if the largest part of the positive overall impression is due to Intel's new Huron River platform, Asus has succeeded in setting up a strong multimedia notebook. The case's qualities, as well as the restrictions caused by the interface distribution...
