  • With a better screen, even at a slightly higher price, this could have been the ideal ultra-portable laptop; as it is, it's a near miss...

  • Abstract:  I've lost count of the number of laptops I've reviewed over the past two decades, but it's in the hundreds. Enough that it feels like I've built an internal compass that can tell me almost instantly whether a laptop is good, bad or indifferent within mome...

  • It adds up to an excellent budget laptop. If you control what you store on this laptop then it becomes manageable. It's another impressive offering from Asus, which once again shows its rivals how to build an alluring mid-range laptop without making compr...

  • Abstract:  Price: £199You might not have heard of it, but the Linx 12X64 is a cheap and cheerful 2-in-1 laptop that comes with a bundled keyboard at no extra cost. Having reviewed the laptop at £280, it was a fantastic device at that price but now that it's plummete...

  • The Asus ZenBook UX410 is a stunning laptop in terms of design, there's no doubt about that. The small details, like the spun metal finish on the lid or the chamfered edges of the trackpad, help the ZenBook look like a high-end laptop without the pricetag...

  • The laptop is highly portable, and not heavy to use on the go, Simple to setup and fast to boot up too, The laptop is quick to recharge, The metallic lid looks stylish, although the keyboard casing doesn't match this, Copes well with basic computing tasks
  • There's no touchscreen, The laptop lacks a fingerprint sensor and Bluetooth, which can be found on its bigger brother, the Zenbook UX430, Not suitable for gaming, Battery life is disappointing
  • This is a great value mid-range laptop that copes well with simple computing tasks. The lack of added bells and whistles like Bluetooth and a fingerprint sensor means it's £200 cheaper than the next model up - ideal if you're on a budget...

  • compact and well built, excellent screen, good keyboard, not the best though, full size IO, performs flawlessly, upgradeable storage and RAM, runs cool, even with demanding loads, long battery life, despite having a 48 Wh battery, fair priced
  • some sharp edges on the bottom, the screen only leans back to about 120 degrees, jumpy trackpad, fan active all the time with daily use, although there's no need for it to be, noticed some coil whining, poor long range wireless performance
  • The Zenbook UX410 is one these modern ultraportables that squeeze a bigger screen inside a compact shell. In this case, it's an excellent 14-inch matte display inside the body of a 13-inch notebook. It's not as light or as thin as some other ultraportable...
