  • Abstract:  While the Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX does have its downfalls, it is hard to complain about its budget price. You do get decent performance and some basic features, which should appeal to those needing a basic laptop.

  • Inexpensive, attractive design, strong build, good performance for basic tasks, keyboard is comfortable to type on, has WirelessN WiFi.k,
  • Single core processor isn’t good for heavy multitasking, lacks media card reader and Webcam, mouse buttons are stiff,
  • HP Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX features a single core processor which makes the notebook inexpensive but also limits you to single applications and light multitasking only. Heavy multi tasking will immediately get this laptop down to its heels. We will...

  • Oct 6 2009 - Compaqs CQ60-420us is an updated version of their extremely affordable laptop. With a price tag around $500, it is certainly going to attract a fair number of buyers. The problem is that Compaq didnt redesign the basic CQ60 chassis leavi...

  • Decent keyboard and touch pad, good screen, low price.
  • Slow processor, no SD card reader or Bluetooth.
  • Saddled with a processor thats bottom-tier, the CQ60-417DX is a budget laptop with the chassis of a superior machine but the guts of an inferior one.

  • Very affordable. 16:9 aspect display. Manageable weight.
  • Sluggish performance. Short on features. Does not support draft-n Wi-Fi.
  • The Compaq Presario CQ60 (420us) lacks some of the features found on other 15-inch models, and its performance is nothing to write home about, but bargain hunters will love its sub-$500 price tag....

  • Apr 13 2009 - With a suggested price of $550 and prices available near $500 at times, the Compaq Presario CQ60-220us is certainly a very affordable system. The pricing makes it a good choice for those looking to get more than what is available in the n...

  • Very inexpensive; includes separate number pad.
  • Slow performance compared with other entry-level laptops; poor battery life.
  • As stripped-down as a laptop gets, the Compaq Presario CQ60-215DX is saddled with slow performance and a weak battery. There are better entry-level options out there.
