In short? Despite its missteps
The ThinkPad Yoga is our favorite Lenovo device we've had the pleasure of testing so far this year. For casual consumers
We'd say it's the best Yoga available
And for business professionals
Below-average battery life
Comparably slow SSD speeds
Color range in display is lacking
Display choices top out at 1920 by 1080
So-so battery life
Thicker and heavier many of its competitors
Though an excellent keyboard
We wouldn't mind more key travel
Battery life is adequate but not stellar
The screen is smaller and lacks the higher resolution of the similar Yoga 2 Pro. The hidden keyboard adds mechanical complexity to what should be a rugged road system. The upgrades you'll want drive the price up quickly
Pricey
Short on ports
Weak
Low-res Webcam
Less storage capacity than its competition. Mini HDMI rather than full-size HDMI port
Price as tested is rather high
Slow SSD speeds
Weak color reproduction
Relatively bulky
Self-flattening keyboard seems less useful on a machine that's this cumbersome to use in tablet mode
