  • Wacom digitizer option
  • Fast performance
  • Good keyboard
  • Great trackpad and solid build to order options
  • The ThinkPad Yoga has an innovative vanishing keyboard that solves a major hybrid problem. Construction

  • Strong performance and sound system
  • Great-looking full HD display
  • Multimode design meets business sensibilities. Ruggedized construction. Category-leading performance

The editors didn't like

  • Bloatware
  • Minor inherent issues with face-down keyboard use model
  • No Ethernet port
  • No integrated Ethernet port
  • In short?  Despite its missteps
  • The ThinkPad Yoga is our favorite Lenovo device we've had the pleasure of testing so far this year.  For casual consumers
  • We'd say it's the best Yoga available
  • And for business professionals
  • Below-average battery life
  • Comparably slow SSD speeds
  • Color range in display is lacking
  • Display choices top out at 1920 by 1080
  • So-so battery life
  • Thicker and heavier many of its competitors
  • Though an excellent keyboard
  • We wouldn't mind more key travel
  • Battery life is adequate but not stellar
  • The screen is smaller and lacks the higher resolution of the similar Yoga 2 Pro. The hidden keyboard adds mechanical complexity to what should be a rugged road system. The upgrades you'll want drive the price up quickly
  • Pricey
  • Short on ports
  • Weak
  • Low-res Webcam
  • Less storage capacity than its competition. Mini HDMI rather than full-size HDMI port
  • Price as tested is rather high
  • Slow SSD speeds
  • Weak color reproduction
  • Relatively bulky
  • Self-flattening keyboard seems less useful on a machine that's this cumbersome to use in tablet mode
  • Base model has a fairly low-res screen
  • Battery life is on the short side
  • TPM chip sole security feature
  • A bit heavy
  • Relatively expensive
  • Slightly heavy
  • Ethernet port only via docking station
  • Display bounces a little

  • Powerful, outstanding build quality, great keyboard, runs full Windows, versatile choice of hardware
  • Low battery life, quite heavy, expensive, poor camera
  • The Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 12 is a fast, well-built ultrabook/tablet hybrid that's flexible in more ways than one. Still, a weak battery and high starting prices mean it won't be the convertible to end all convertibles...

  • simple design, excellent build quality, convertible formfactor, great keyboard and trackpad, plenty of configurations/options, runs cool and quiet
  • limited selection of ports, tiny speakers, average battery life
  • The ThinkPad Yoga is a versatile and sturdy laptop. The form factor is definitely a plus added on top of those iconic ThinkPad characteristics: solid body, simple looks, good keyboard, plenty of features. All these don't come cheap though....

  • Good performance for a hybrid, Clever fold, over tablet mode, Digitiser pen option, Excellent keyboard, Pretty good battery life
  • VGA/LAN require OneLink dock accessory
  • As a jack of all trades, Lenovo's ThinkPad Yoga doesn't do quite as good a job as the ThinkPad Helix with its sleeker, fully detachable tablet portion. However, the Helix is also considerably more expensive. The Yoga is still priced within the general te...

  • Abstract:  The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga isn't as slim or sexy as its colorful consumer-oriented sibling, the IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro , nor does it have the Yoga 2 Pro's alluring 3820-by-1200-pixel display. But this hybrid Ultrabook checks all the must-have business feature b...

  • Review: Lenovo ThinkPad YogaReview by Andrew YewWhen I mention ‘Lenovo Yoga', people usually think of the IdeaPad Yoga, with its bright orange lid and slim chassis build. An Ultrabook through and through, the Yoga has indeed served the Chinese giant well...

  • With retail prices starting from RM4999, there are other Ultrabooks with touch displays which cost less. None, however, can boast meeting eight military-grade specifications for durability. Few, too, offer three years onsite warranty as standard. I'm very...
