The editors liked

  • 1-pound device. Small enough to slide into your pockets. Best thumb board on a Micro PC. Vibrant 5-inch screen. Built-in Sprint EV-DO modem. Innovative docking station.
  • Very small and light
  • Built-in mobile broadband
  • Good endurance with double-capacity battery
  • Improved backlit keyboard
  • Runs Windows and any programs you need Feels solidly made
  • Sleek black design
  • HDMI output
  • Raised
  • Backlit keys make it the most comfortable UMPC for typing
  • Number pad
  • Screen-side scroll bars.

The editors didn't like

  • More expensive than the original version. VIA processors appear to be slower than their Intel counterparts. Fan noise can get annoying.
  • Relatively low application performance
  • Throughput trails other Rev. O hardware
  • No memory card slots
  • Tiny keypad isn’t great Gets hot quickly Expensive
  • Weak performance and battery life
  • BlackBerry-style keyboard not great for productivity.
