  • Built-in automatic duplexing; generous paper capacity; PostScript 3 emulation; network-ready; four camera card slots.
  • Middling print speeds; photographic prints had some minor flaws.
  • While the HP 2605dtn may not be the fastest color laser printer we’ve tested, its print quality, expanded paper handling options, built-in duplexing capabilities, networking, and low price make for quite a bargain.

  • The HP Color LaserJet 2605dtn shows excellent color and monochrome print quality, has a built-in photo card reader and duplexer, and is reasonably priced.
  • The menu system is difficult to navigate, paper input is limited to 500 sheets, and software could be more small-office friendly.
  • The HP 2605dtn has some flaws, but it prints color cheaply and well enough for small offices, individuals, and small corporate workgroups.

  • Flash card printing, excellent photo quality (with minor reservations), quick.
  • Paper path needs regular cleaning.
  • The results on the photo paper and, equally, those prints made on ordinary office paper, were little short of phenomenal. The HP 2650dtn is a serious rival to inkjet and, as HP claims, has arguably similar archival life for its prints. The colour toner c...

  • Easy to install toner cartridges, decent quality.
  • Prints slowly. The Final Word The 2605dtn prints a little slowly, but the quality is excellent and we like its features. Its also very easy to maintain, so if youre looking for a decent colour laser for the office, this one is well worth checking out.

  • Great Specification, Good Looking, Well Made, Excellent Prints, Quiet
  • Miserly RAM Configuration
  • The HP Color LaserJet 2605dn may seem a little expensive, but its got the specifications to back it up. A 600x600dpi print engine lies underneath the bonnet of this solid, attractive machine, and both duplex printing and Ethernet are supplied as stand...
