Glossy finish attracts smudges
Proprietary charger. Windows RT still lacks in the apps department. Lacks dedicated full size usb ports without keyboard case. MicroSD card slot can only be accessed with a paperclip. Wish it were a bit slimmer and lighter to compete better with the iPad
Larger than most tablets
Can't run legacy Windows apps
Some popular apps missing from Windows Store
No WiFi version
No full USB port
The lack of a kickstand and Microsoft's Surface 2 make it hard for the Lumia 2520 to stand out. Carrier branding limits its availability and the lack of storage may limit the device for power users. Odd button placement and uninspiring
It's a Windows RT tablet
And an expensive one at that
Flawed touchpad design
It's thicker and heavier than recent tablets
And its pointy corners are distracting. The screen has a yellow tint
Storage expansion is only accessible with a key or paperclip
And the keyboard accessory isn't as comfortable to type on as the Surface 2's
Micro USB 3.0 port is useless without a separate adapter (not included). Mediocre sound quality. Keyboard case sold separately. App selection is limited. Windows RT 8.1 is a tough sell for most people
Limited app selection
Back is fingerprint magnet
Awkward touchpad
Lackluster camera
Windows RT
Some software glitches
Pricey
Even compared to highend competition
Windows RT still lacks apps
Minor bugs and crashes
Weak on-screen keyboard
Tablet is quite heavy
Prone to scratches
Heavy keyboard case
The more I write about the Lumia 2520
The more I think I do need to go order one again. I recommend people take an honest look at their tablet needs and what Windows RT 8.1 can offer them. Don't write off Windows RT because it isn't a full Windows OS. Ta
Overall the Nokia Lumia 2520 is a great device, it just has a few issues that when you look at the bigger picture you'll probably not buy the Lumia. First is the price, in this day and age when you can get full blown Windows 8.1 touch devices for a simila...
Comfortable design, Great speakers, Superb battery life, MicroSD and SIM card support
Windows RT 8.1 interface can frustrate, Windows lacks app variety of iPad/Android, $500 price tag is steep, $150 price for keyboard dock is also steep, Rear camera doesn't impress
If you have used Windows 8 and like it, and you're OK with not installing legacy Windows 7 software, then this is a good tablet option for you. It will run you $500 and an additional $150 if you want a keyboard dock, which puts it at about the same pric...
Nokia's Lumia range of phones are known for their slick lines and curved designs, and that follows through with Nokia's take on the tablet form factor. This isn't a plain black slate like so many other tablets you've seen, the Lumia 2520 is a glossy and fresh take that simply screams boldness. Ours came in a delicious candy red flavour, and unlike Microsoft's monotone Surface, the bright hue give
We love Nokia's hardware, and the Lumia 2520 is no exception, but it's let down by the software - or lack of it. As it's toting Windows RT, you won't be able to access all the legacy and desktop apps that you may already be used to using on regular Windows, meaning you're limited to the Windows Store for supported, fullscreen Metro-style apps. It's an ever growing digital store, but it's still la
Nokia's top-notch hardware is let down by Microsoft's lacklustre Windows 8.1, which still falls short as a tablet OS. There's still an alarming lack of dedicated apps, and the awkward touch-screen navigation of its desktop mode is begging for a mouse o...

The Nokia Lumia 2520 is a well-built, reasonably priced tablet that is only really let down by the limited Windows RT system running the show. If this was full-fat Windows 8.1, it'd be a different beast entirely....

The Nokia Lumia 2520 is an excellent piece of hardware - it's high-powered, aesthetically pleasing, and boasts one of the best screen resolutions around. Sadly, the Windows RT operating system prevents it from fulfilling its potential, proving that cutti...
