  • The Saitek Cyborg Command Unit is going to have a hard time finding a niche that it fits into because it is trying to do what a keyboard and mouse already do. If you travel with your computer a lot and you find your keyboard too big then this might wor...

  • Flexible configuration for shooters, strategy, and role-playing games; handy analog thumb stick; colorful backlighting; adjustable ergonomics.
  • Command profiles must be reloaded every time the computer is restarted or the pad is plugged in; for right-handed users only.
  • Eminently configurable keys and a surprisingly useful analog stick make the Cyborg Command Unit one of the nicer gaming pads weve seen, but its still a matter of personal taste whether it can or should replace your keyboard.

  • USB cable was too short for my needs, Takes some getting used to
  • If I were a heavy LAN partygoers I could certainly see the desire for a device like this. As a gamer that only plays at a large desk, I prefer to stick with my gaming keyboard. However, gamers playing in a small confined area will probably like the Sai...

  • My first experience with Saiteks SST programming software was with their otherwise unremarkable 1600DPI mouse. Even in that case, where there were only three or four programmable buttons, the functionality of the SST software was impressive; with the ...

  • Overall, I really felt like the Saitek Cyborg Command Unit was unnecessary for the styles of games that I play. In first person shooters, I performed the same on the standard keyboard and the Cyborg Command Unit, but that was after learning how to use...

  • Abstract:  The Command Unit looks and feels as though it was designed for FPS players, and that's where I found it had the most use. Switching weapons using the number keys was incredibly easy and much faster than using..
