TDP and power draw is almost unbelievable at 150W for such a high-performance GPU
Using only one 8-pin PCIe cable
In contrast the Fury X requires two 8-pin cables
Overclockability is very good so far – GPU Boost 3.0 works with the Precision X overcloc
The EVGA GTX 1060 3GB beats the Red Devil RX 470 overall in performance at a similar price
With one 6-pin PCIe connector
TDP and power draw are good and it is quiet in comparison to the reference GTX 1060 Founders Edition. ACX 2.0 cooling is very effect

The video memory at 3GB limits the GTX 1060 to 1920×1080 resolution
PrecisionX OC refused to launch for us after activation. We probably left overclocking performance on the table by setting our overclock manually by being unable to use the advanced overclocking features it offers
Limited MM & UW Support
Texture popins are still a thing
Multiplayer
Checkpoint saves
No ingame option to disable mouse smoothing
Runs out of ideas too early
Bolted-on (and unnecessary at best) multiplayer
Multiplayer needs some work
DLC and Season Passes lock content behind paywalls
Doom's reboot is bringing the franchise bang up-to-date and yet it has not lost any of its original charm/appeal. For me it's non-stop arcade fun all the way, with big weapons, large monsters, a pounding sound track and the added bonus of the community dr...

Throughout the past few weeks, I've received some passionate pleas from hardware fans wanting me to include Doom Vulkan testing and conduct a performance analysis. Of course, I understand the reason behind this but the complicated benchmarking process mea...

Abstract: I've always loved DOOM. The original was one of the first proper PC games I played as a kid, after someone installed the shareware version on a computer at school and we all had a go. While I don't believe I had the full version way back then I definitely...

There are a few other issues too. By and large, DOOM does an excellent job of stripping the narrative to its bare-bones, there are several moments where the momentum stalls because of an overlong dialogue sequence. There's also a ridiculous amount of writ...
Abstract: Doom has moved on. id Software's new take on its old classic once again straddles a fault-line between the partly colonised surface of Mars and a rollicking Death Metal album cover version of Hell, all goat motifs and bubbling plumes of gore. Brought to l...
Captures the spirit of the early Dooms, Campaign is packed with secrets, Potentially brilliant map editor
Underwhelming multiplayer, Barely-there plot
Embedded video It could have been little more than an empty exercise in nostalgia for the thirtysomething crowd. Thankfully, Doom manages to blend in just enough 21st century tweaks to appeal to the kind of Modern Warfare-raised whippersnapper who thinks...
Abstract: DOOM is just one of two highly anticipated titles coming out this week, with Uncharted 4 dropping today in the wake of some phenomenal reviews from last week ( and yesterday ). While Naughty Dog and Sony gave most reviewers plenty of time to get behind th...
Abstract: Demons, Hell and Big F***ing Guns. That was what DOOM was about back in 1993, and that is precisely what DOOM is about in 2016. At its best, it's everything that you can want it to be: you, a lone soldier on a mission to eradicate demons, making his way f...
