The editors didn't like
The video memory at 3GB limits the GTX 1060 to 1920×1080 resolution
PrecisionX OC refused to launch for us after activation. We probably left overclocking performance on the table by setting our overclock manually by being unable to use the advanced overclocking features it offers
Control scheme is barely viable
In some cases
Graphics options are reductive and nearly useless
Pricey
And doesn't include the original DLC. Later sales? Ugh
Gameplay too familiar for some
Too much emphasis on killing everything
Pip-Boy
A clunky window to everything
Buggy at times
Gameplay can get repetitive
Companions are difficult to manage
Lackluster inventory management and world map
Average graphics and some glitches to contend with

Abstract: Fallout 4. Few times over the years have I witnessed a such an insane amount of hype over a game. A good part of that buzz is warranted. After all, the Fallout series has a long pedigree of quality games, and its developer, Bethesda, is known for deliveri...

Abstract: With as trashed as the Wasteland can appear, there's an art to its construction. In fact, crafting new-looking things is easy compared to what Fallout's artists do. Fallout's artists have to first craft something brand new, then deconstruct it to look eit...

Abstract: Fallout 4 uses an updated proprietary Creation Engine, which is why it doesn't look much different than the older Fallout and The Elder Scrolls titles. One leftover from a bygone area of g...
Abstract: Can you go home again? That is the question I've been asking myself this week. When I first picked up a copy of Fallout 3 upon its 2009 release, it was the first shooter game I'd played since Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Before that, Perfect Dark. Since...
The Fallout games are all fairly similar in appearance and have a few quirks that make them decidedly Fallout. At the same time each one has tried to do something different within the agreed upon post apocalyptic setting. Fallout 3 had a couple of recurri...
Abstract: In the late 20th century, people hoped that the new millennium would usher in an age of promise: hoverboards, flying cars, personal robots, and the like. That future, the one that everyone predicted, never quite came to pass. Not in the way we thought it...
Abstract: Just five days after Fallout 4 came out, Nexus Mods member BOTLANNER already came up with a mod for the hit RPG. It's a fun and somewhat practical one too. The Creature Follower mod lets you summon a second companion. None of them are human, but they're a...
