The editors didn't like

  • The video memory at 3GB limits the GTX 1060 to 1920×1080 resolution
  • PrecisionX OC refused to launch for us after activation. We probably left overclocking performance on the table by setting our overclock manually by being unable to use the advanced overclocking features it offers
  • Uneven AI
  • Steep learning curve
  • Changing settings require restarting the game
  • Very hard
  • Some sections inaccessible to casual fans

  • Project Cars 2 has the potential to be one of the best racing simulators, thanks to the wonderful tracks, variety, and awesome vehicles, but AI flaws and a plethora of strange technical issues prevent it from being a consistently great experience...

  • Abstract:  Project CARS 2 is a step above its predecessor but it still suffers from many of the same problems as the first title on Xbox One. While the visuals may have witnessed a dramatic improvement along with its technical capabilities, playing Project CARS 2 wi...

  • Project CARS 2 plays like a pumped-up version of the classic TOCA Race Driver 3 from 2006, redressing many of the complaints levelled at the original. The handling has been tuned to a T, the content is excellently curated, and the amount of variety and ra...

  • Abstract:  If I took anything away from Bandai Namco's Project Cars 2 demo at E3 2017, it's that the folks at Slightly Mad Studios know a thing or two about motorsports and weather. These dudes love them some super-intense weather effects. In fact, there's an entire...

  • This has been quite an interesting exploration for us in evaluating the overclocked $199 Red Devil RX 470 versus the overclocked $199 EVGA GTX 1060 3GB Gaming edition. The GTX 1060 3GB is a faster card at stock, and due to its superior headroom for overcl...
