Una formula funzionale che grazie all'aggiunta di molte novità dà una gradevole sensazione di freschezza, magia, unità speciali e fazioni ben caratterizzate, insieme a un gameplay che riesce a offrire parecchie ore di divertimento,
Qualche bug di troppo ed un'ambientazione che poteva essere sfruttata meglio, il multiplayer risulta molto trascurato e quattro fazioni giocabili sono veramente poche, alla lunga i turni dell'IA durante la campagna avvengono in tempi biblici,
