  • Abstract:  PlayStation 3The developers at Treyarch are asked every two years to produce a better game than the last. If the last game they produced was any other game, their task would be a much simpler one, however, this year they attempt to improve upon the wil...

  • Abstract:  We've come to expect a new Call of Duty game in the fall of every year, and 2012 is no different, with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II – a sequel to one of the best COD games to date. So with the Black Ops pedigree in hand, does BO2 carry the to...

  • Abstract:  Entire articles have been written about Activision, Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and the Call of Duty series in general. I won’t cover too much of it except to say that in my opinion, Treyarch now makes the superior Call of Duty game. As the sort of man ...

  • Abstract:  I’m not sure if there’s a yearly release for consoles that tends to be more divisive among its fan base than a new entry in Activision’s blockbuster Call of Duty franchise. Ever since Infinity Ward revitalized the series with the original Modern Warfar...

  • Abstract:  By now, even if you're reading this at midnight on launch day, you've probably already managed to get your hands on a copy of Black Ops 2. If so, anything that I say in the following paragraphs will have very little influence on how much of your payche...

  • Abstract:  Turkey day is a couple weeks away, here in the States. Today many of us are already showing our thanks–to Activision that is. It's November 13th. The launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has descended upon the frag-focused masses. James and I are both meti...

  • The best campaign since Modern Warfare, featuring a branching narrative and multiple endings. An overhauled multiplayer that improves an already top-class experience. Great new weapons and tech. Dolphin diving is back.
  • The engine is showing its age in places. Campaign still contains a large dollop of silliness and outdated mechanics and on-rails sections. The Strike Force missions are a failure. Zombie mode is completely overshadowed and underwhelming.

  • Abstract:  Back to it's origins is the theme for the final DLC pack in the season pass for Black Ops 2. With two out of four multiplayer maps being re-imaginings and the new zombie map starring familiar faces, is this faithful fan service, or are they on the cusp of...
