The editors liked

  • Tons of characters from Star Wars
  • Pixar
  • Marvel
  • And Disney worlds. Variety of game modes. Fun
  • Stylized graphics. Mostly great controls. Works with all figures and Power Disks from previous versions.
  • Vastly improved combat system
  • Screen wipes
  • Sounds
  • And Star Wars feel
  • Vehicles sections are (mostly) great
  • Space combat is a welcome addition
  • Characters all feel differently

The editors didn't like

  • Figures and Play Sets sold separately
  • No way to unlock them in-game. Some iffy controls
  • One less character in the starter pack this year
  • No ranged character in starter pack
  • Much of the Toy Box is still locked behind challenges
  • Podracing controls are garbage

  • The Star Wars property is arguably the most famous universe included in the game thus far, as Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition continues the fairly slow pace of evolving the franchise...

  • Disney Infinity 3.0 improves combat, adds space combat, and couples it with the most storied franchise in history to create a hit. The story is worth playing, and (most) of the vehicles are a great addition to the formula. With dozens of hours of content...

  • Disney Infinity gets a massive upgrade with a new 3.0 version that adds Star Wars characters, more Marvel heroes, and revamped combat and racing modes from talented game studios. It's likely to be the best version of the lucrative toys-to-life franchise...

  • Abstract:  I wasn't a fan of the previous Disney Infinity entries. At least not the gameplay portion. I own almost every Marvel figure from the 2.0 series simply because I enjoyed collecting them. The games themselves were clunky and extremely limited, especially co...
