Accessible, enjoyable, and largely uncomplicated. Vivid and cheery character designs. Challenging course designs. Courses are rendered beautifully. You can make lobby characters and give them little suits and moustaches.
Multiplayer is a bit simplistic. Some odd interface issues. Two too many problematic anime tropes. Doesn't do anything fresh or new with the franchise or the subgenre.
