  • Abstract:  Uncharted hero Nathan Drake’s first handheld adventure is the perfect game to introduce the world to Sony’s PlayStation Vita, a powerful new portable game system launching next Wednesday. It’s a showcase for virtually all of the device’s most alluring ...

  • Abstract:  Games in the ‘Uncharted’ series are what you call Marquee Titles (with capitals!) It's the kind of successful series that platform holders hope will make you buy their flash new system when it first comes out, just because there’s a new Nathan Drake ad...

  • Striking, well-rendered environments, a ripping original score, engaging and easy-to-handle gameplay, some of the best banter in any video game this side of Tim Schafer.
  • Stretches itself out with barriers and alternate routes that add nothing to the game, doesn't feel particularly substantial, some of the character models are a bit rough, in-game touchpad and Sixaxis controls feel superfluous.

  • Abstract:  If you can't get enough of Nathan Drake's incredible fingertip strength, Olympic-level long jump skills, and immaculately-styled hair - when does he have time to do that, anyway? - you're not alone. Uncharted is one of the most beloved franchises avail...

  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss suffers a little from overuse of the Vita touch functionality but other than those minor, short tasks the game as a whole impresses. Without doubt one of the best action adventures on any handheld device to date.88%...

  • Stunning visuals, Fantastic story, Who doesn’t love Nathan Drake?
  • Story length outlasts battery, Not best enjoyed in chunks, Some controls feel unintuitive
  • Uncharted The Golden Abyss is a fantastic game and can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best of the Uncharted series with ease. If you own a PS Vita, it almost goes without saying that this is an essential purchase, and if you’re the sort of player

  • Superb graphics, Good game lifespan, plenty of secrets to uncover, Touchscreen and gyroscope put to good use, even if not essential, Gameplay with two analogue sticks, Good soundtrack
  • Storyline and settings aren't particularly original, Use of some of the Vitaspecific controls is debatable, Some slowdowns, QTE prompts aren't particularly convincing
  • While Sony clearly hasn't taken too many risks with Uncharted Golden Abyss for the PlayStation Vita, it's still a great game. It boasts impressive graphics, good playability, and integrates the console's touchscreen controls and gyroscope. Plus, it has...
