  • Abstract:  When the PlayStation Portable hit the market in 2005, WipEout Pure was among the titles that ushered Sony into the portable gaming world. By the time the PSP was released, the WipEout franchise had already played a significant role in the PlayStation a...

  • Abstract:  WipEout 2048 Review1 2 Few games have defined Sony's PlayStation brand over the ages like WipEout, with SCE Studio Liverpool's (then Psygnosis) futuristic racer arriving with the original PlayStation in 1995. This high-speed racer wasn't just a vision ...

  • Abstract:  Wipeout 2048 is all about the familiar: the feel of the ships, the layout of the tracks, and the punch of a rocket. This is a game you've played countless times before and on numerous Sony consoles. But does that make it any less thrilling? Fortunately...

  • Incredibly fast and challenging gameplay. Multiplayer events are often a glorious mess. Striking and inventive track designs. A dubstep score that actually works.
  • Events can take forever to load. The multiplayer campaign system hurts immersion and enjoyment. Offering to take a player's photo to send to his competitors in multiplayer is really, really creepy.

  • Abstract:  Despite its multiplatform roots, Wipeout has been exclusively associated with Sony platforms since Wipeout 3 in 1999. In fact, there has been a Wipeout for every PlayStation - a trend the Vita has no plans of bucking, with Wipeout 2048 being a key laun...

  • Abstract:  These cards come in sizes ranging from 4GB to 64GB. PlayStation Vita games are normally less than 1GB in size, so if you just want to try out a few new titles then 8GB or 16GB should do you fine. If you plan to suck up the entire breadth of Vita’s library...
