  • Abstract:  While we've been patiently waiting for Funcom's ambitious MMORPG Age of Conan to arrive, THQ and developer Nihilistic have snuck in like a Hyborian thief in the night with their own barbarian-boasting game, aptly and simply titled Conan. A licensed game a...

  • Abstract:  Step back in time with me, back to a time when men were men, swords were swords, axes were axes, and women were scantily clad. Sounds like fun? You would be very correct in thinking so.

  • Weapon and attack variety keep things interesting; intuitive controls; adult themes.
  • Play can get repetitive; very derivative of God of War; not enough weapon info.
  • It probably started innocently enough. Conan lumbering up to God of Wars Kratos and mumbling something like "Dude, can I borrow your sandals?" And from there, it just snowballed: "Can I borrow your moves?", "Can I borrow your controller scheme?", etc....

  • Abstract:  Remember the scene in the Matrix where the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar is sitting around eating some runny protein sludge and wondering if the machines really knew what Tastee Wheat tasted like? That maybe they got it wrong and anyone who claimed to kno...

  • Abstract:  Before there was The Lord of the Rings, there was Robert E. Howards Conan the Cimmerian. Now, the big brute is starring in his own video game.

  • Abstract:  There are boobies in THQs new action button-masher Conan. Lots of boobies. The "collection" portion that seems requisite for all action and adventure titles these days has the famed barbarian searching for half-naked slave girls chained to rocks. Ther...

  • Abstract:  VIDEO: Head over to our videos page to check out all Conan footage! You hear it all the time when someone discusses clones: "Is more God of War a bad thing?" And no, it wouldn't be -- at least, to a certain point -- but that question assumes so much abo...

  • Abstract:  Lets get some things out of the way before we start: Conan is the most sexist, brainless, brash, gory and crude game youll ever play. In fact, this makes the adventures of Kratos seem like they were penned by a feminist pacifist. Yet, despite the ove...
