The editors liked Deep bass and crisp highs Above-average noise cancellation for low price Can be used in wired Passive mode Comfortable fit Long continuous battery life Good active noise cancelling Comfortable padding Strong Bluetooth connection with AAC and can also be wired Ambient mode lets you hear your surroundings Battery life Price Active noise cancellation is the main selling point here And it works well While Sony has been a long-time supporter of USB Type-C on audio products It's nice to see when many other comparable headphones are still using microUSB The editors didn't like Mids are somewhat scooped out No carrying case or pouch ANC has a very hard time blocking out bass-range noise Not very portable Build quality is not great Don't fold at the hinges Lack of LDAC support is confusing Earcups aren't deep at all Mids and highs are lacking in clarity The audio quality is fine But it doesn't quite match what you get from more expensive headphones The small size and similar texture of the playback controls take some getting used to
