While HDMI isnt expected at this price, component-video conversion--also missing--wouldve been a nice addition. Furthermore, the TX-SR504 lacks auto speaker calibration and onscreen setup menus.
Despite a couple of flaws, the Onkyo TX-SR504s winning combination of features and performance demonstrates that Onkyo remains a leader in the entry-level 7.1-channel A/V receiver market.
