  • FM tuner is available on your iPod/iPhone, Hardware is small, easy to travel with, and looks great, iFM Radio Browser brings online contextual information to existing radio stations
  • RDS information is mysteriously missing from the larger of the two apps, You cannot use your iPhone/iPod to do anything else while running the application (Apple issue, not Griffin), FM Radio may not be worth the price tag and hassle anymore

  • Great interface, small design, includes a few functions in one unit
  • Cables routed out of the bottom, no AM tuning
  • As we said before, the iFM is a cool addition to any iPod, especially when you want to hear something other than your music, but the newest version is not as nice as its predecessor.

  • Abstract:  Griffin Technology’s iFM is absolutely fabulous in its primary capacity—receiving radio broadcasts. This redeeming factor only barely makes up for its other shortcomings. Don’t let the diminutive size fool you. The iFM is a hearty FM rad...

  • Abstract:  Most iPod accessories fall under one of a few categories—speakers, docks, cases, FM transmitters, voice recorders, and remotes. We were taken back a bit when Griffin Technology released the iFM, a small device that crosses the boundaries to include...

  • Works with a wide range of devices; simple interface; small transmitter
  • Can't rename favourite stations; tricky to answer calls when using the iFM with an iPhone
  • The iFM works well with older iPods without a touch screen, where you’re less likely to use applications, but it's less usable with the iPhone and iPod Touch. Despite this the iFM is still a functional way to get FM radio on your iPod or iPhone, even ...
