  • 48 Hz mode produces some flicker which can be distracting
  • Wide bezel makes the set larger than it needs to be for its screen size
  • Not optimized for home use
  • Black levels not as good as those of Pioneer Kuro models
  • No fancy features like network connectivity or access to internet services
  • No advanced picture controls
  • Albeit it doesn’t really need them.
  • The new 48Hz mode reduces judder
  • But it adds noticeable flicker that some people will find even more distracting
  • This TV isn't as good at upconverting SD content as the best panels we've seen
  • Although it is solid in this respect
  • Plasma TVs generally aren't as bright as LCDs and therefore aren't the best choice for a really bright room with lots of potential light reflections.

  • Det er egentlig ikke så lett å klage på PZ800, for den gjør mye bra og lite som er direkte galt. Problemet er at den etter vår oppfatning sliter med å forsvare prisen. I skrivende stund ligger den nemlig på rundt 16.000 om du leter i landets nettbutik...
