Somewhat disappointing picture quality in 1080p mode; ongoing format war means many films wont be available on HD DVD; no multichannel analog outputs.
The Toshiba HD-A20 is a perfectly competent HD DVD player, but its not worth the extra money when compared to the budget Toshiba HD-A2.
