The editors liked

  • Excellent design aesthetic. Safe for kids and pets. Simple and quick to set up and moves around with ease. Cools you off in a few minutes – even if it’s with circulated air
  • Really pretty and blasts air like you really would not believe. Assembles in seconds with no tools. Adjusts for height and angle. Threebutton remote is stylish and thin — it runs on a watch battery — and even stands on end.

The editors didn't like

  • The price gives a bit of sticker shock. Tends to collect hair while sucking in air.
  • 450. For a fan. Mr. Dyson
  • You are brilliant
  • Iconic
  • Elusive and mysterious. But do you also have to be Steve Jobs? Noted
  • Your topoftheline wind machine is cheaper than an entrylevel iPad
  • But not by much.

  • Abstract:  We said the original, desk-sized Dyson Air Multipler is an opulent but fantastic feat of engineering and excess, one that you'd feel guilty for purchasing but love afterwards. The Dyson AM03 is the same, but might be more justifiable.Dyson's newest invent...

  • Absurd design that’s a true eyecatcher, smooth airflow and lovely remote
  • Louder than it should be, not massively powerful, pricey.
  • Louder and less practical than its desk-top sibling, and more expensive too....
