Plus ability to continue while charging? Excellent
Wi-Fi-enabled
Well-designed app
Powerful suction
The Neato Botvac Connected is the best-performing robot vacuum we've ever tested. The new Neato app is well-designed and easy to use
And finally brings remote control functionality to the Botvac line
Fantastic cleaning prowess

Uses LIDAR triangulation for better mapping around the home
App is user-friendly and offers a ton of stats

Good at hard floors
The editors didn't like
The app needs work. It's missing obvious features like a full set of notifications
And it's unreliable
It'll get stuck on cords and other things on the ground
The magnetic strip is a clunky solution for a virtual wall. It can't detect it from a distanc
Expensive
I'd personally like to see a camera included for the manual clean so you can see and guide accordingly wherever you are
No physical remote
Frustrating setup
Spinning brush blade occasionally falls off
At $700
It's the most expensive Neato yet -- $200 more than the previous generation. We also encountered a few usability quirks during testing

All I need in life to keep me feeling content is to come home to a clean floor. If you're like me, and having that extra hand around the house could help your state of being, the Neato Botvac Connected may actually not be your first choice. As far as clea...
Great for pet hair, cleans tight corners and edges, navigates well, good at hard floors,
Expensive, App can be hard to set up
The Neato Connected is a great robotic vacuum, doing a good job keeping our floors cleaner than we normally would. It is a decently expensive purchase (MSRP of $699 at the time of writing) but it can be a good investment with the amount of time it can sav...
If you're in the market for a robot vaccum cleaner, this is one of the best models around. It supports complex scheduling functions, cleans very well, is easy to empty and clean, and is controllable via iOS and WatchOS. The advantage to cleaning by sched...
Abstract: My dog has a new archenemy, and its name is Botvac.Neato's tiny automated robotic vacuum stirs my dog into a fit of worried anger every afternoon I send it out for a round of sweeping and vacuuming. It's so magical my dog doesn't trust it.I, for one, welc...
Neato's latest entry into the robot vacuum market is a true competitor in every sense of the word. It's about 20% cheaper than its closest competitor and offers features the competition doesn't, even if it doesn't match toe for toe on every single leve...

Abstract: You dont need a robot vacuum, and getting one wont replace vacuuming entirely. But if you want one to increase the length of time between deeper cleanings, then hell yeah, get one. A robot can do a great job keeping your floors tidy with very little eff...

The Neato Botvac Connected is better at cleaning floors than any other robot vacuum on the market, and it costs less than its app-enabled rival, the iRobot Roomba 980. If you're willing to live without remote controls, you can save some money by sticking...
