Camera is packed with options, SD card compatibility, Great screen, Amazing sound with Quad DAC
Small battery, Terrible software support, Too expensive
Unreliable updates and an inflated price tag make this phone hard to recommend. The LG V40 ThinQ would be a great phone if it was half the price. As it stands, the V40 has great hardware but doesn't really excel in any one area besides audio-similar phones...

Just like all the V series phones from LG, the V40 ThinQ is marketed as a smartphone which can do anything. But, as far as the things are concerned, the V40 ThinQ lacks a few points which are ideal for a smartphone in this price segment. However, it has g...

bright and colour accurate OLED display, fast SoC, aptX HDH, expandable storage, headphone jack, Hi-Fi Quad DAC, wireless charging, good triple rear-facing cameras, accurate GPS module, IP68 and MIL-STG-810G1 certified, up to four years warranty
mediocre battery life, only USB 2.0, PWM display flicker, the delayed release now makes it overpriced
Gaming performance not the best, Selfie-cameras could've been better, Outdated software, Photos by Raj Rout, LG V40 ThinQ
The LG V40 ThinQ ticks most boxes for a premium flagship, including a gorgeous display, stunning design, capable cameras, and a day-long battery life. That said, it feels slightly overpriced for its asking price of Rs 50K, especially considering you you c...

Abstract: In 2018 LG began pushing the ThinQ branding to pretty much most of their devices – from phones to their TVs. Earlier this year, LG dropped the G7 and added the branding to it as we got the G7 ThinQ. It was a great jack-of-all-trades device that didn't get...
Display is colorful, sharp, and brilliant, Phone backside has a premium, unique quality, Camera options are plentiful and helpful, Audio quality is top quality with built-in DAC, Notch can be hidden correctly*
Notch in display (though software options are good!), Speakers down-facing instead of forward-facing, Phone case not included in box, Camera placement a bit awkward
Much like each previously-released LG V-family smartphone, this unit's gonna have a life well beyond your average phone, not least of all because of its built-in DAC for high quality audio and its multiple camera options and decent photo and video quality...
6.4″ QHD+ OLED Display in a phone that isn't too big, Headphone jack, IP68 water and dust resistant, Expandable memory with microSD (it's no longer a given), Headphone jack (they are getting rarer and rarer), Excellent audio, especially through wired head
Ships with Android 8.1, and it is not clear when it will be updated to 9, Battery life isn't spectacular, No camera macro function, 64GB rather than 128GB, It's expensive
For the next gen in the V series, I'd like LG to get a larger battery. The V series has so man features, it would require a large battery to make the most of these features, like cine shot and bright display for long usage periods. The V40 ThinQ is a grea...

LG tends to struggle to make great phones without major flaws, but the V40 ThinQ seems to manage to avoid any major pitfalls. It still has a problem with mediocre battery life and a camera with some strange problems, but honestly, I really like this phone...
