The editors liked

  • The bCoda Coda One's shape lets it work like a handset
  • With much better ergonomics and audio quality than a typical smartphone. Two speakers and two microphones in the device enhance its call quality
  • And it supports A2DP audio streaming

The editors didn't like

  • The Coda One lacks internal voice command. Its audio quality falls short of that from other wireless speakers

  • The Coda One really shines for people who prefer traditional phone ergonomics over a smartphone and performs reasonably well as a wireless speaker phone, but it does not quite make it as a portable music player.
