Slimmer than HTC Touch
Its predecessor
It does not need a memory card slot because of its 4 GB internal storage.
It has a higher VGA display resolution than its predecessor or the iPhone.
This is a great looking touch interface phone and all of the Windows Mobile bells and whistles
This US version has removed many of the issues that seemed to plague the Euro version
Plenty of ROM and RAM
As well as a 4GB internal drive

The HTC Touch Diamond for Verizon includes an expansion slot and supports VZ Navigator
Visual Voice Mail
And the carriers EV-DO Rev. A network. The Windows Mobile smartphone also has integrated Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
And a 3.2-megapixel camera.
TouchFLO 3D is good enough to compete with Apple’s acclaimed interface
The Diamond is the perfect size and weight
Open platform
Though the VGA screen might mess up third party offerings
Attention to detail in both the design and software

The editors didn't like
The screen attracts a lot of fingerprints making it look oily and unclean.
I have to complain about the Weather program yet again…there
I’m done
Battery life seems worse than expected
Hope that 4GB is enough for you
As there is no expansion slot
Occasionally sluggish interface
Small keyboard
Extremely slow
To the point of being unusable
The 3D TouchFLO interface is not very user friendly.Look and Feel...
Keyboard blocks some menus
Expensive
Mediocre battery life
No microSD slot
Dismal battery life. TouchFLO is inconsistent in spots. Subpar video playback. No memory card slot. Gets very hot during calls (more so than the iPhone).
Still a "confused" UI
Requires switches between dpad
Finger
And stylus input.
Sluggish performance at times
No expansion card slot
Small QWERTY onscreen keyboard
Stylus is a virtual requirement for accessing certain parts of the user interface
Landscape mode is underutilized and landscape QWERTY availability is far too rare
Some minor integration flaws between Windows Mobile 6.1 and TouchFLO 3D
No memory exp...
Its too expensive. The smartphone is also slow.
Despite more memory
It still lags at time
HTC music player needs work
Concerns about reception
At least for now
Thicker and heavier than the original
TouchFLO 3D is only skin deep
Keyboard is still a pain to use
Which makes messaging and productivity apps more difficult. Reception problems hurt data-intensive services
Thicker and heavier than the original, TouchFLO 3D is only skin deep
While we havent given it the complete thrashing that we usually subject cell phones to, we have every confidence that the HTC Touch Diamond for Sprint will impress people. It has a slick top-level user interface and is jam-packed with features. We fi...

If compared in isolation to 2007s Touch, the Touch Diamond would be a resounding success; outside of accessible storage and the questionable directional pad, it represents an upgrade in virtually every category. The Diamond is the first Touch phone, i...

HTC Touch Diamond makes a revolution in the world of Windows Mobile. Portable and powerful, it’s fully worth of its price. The short battery life and the casing’s vulnerability to dirt and grease are the two and only weak sides, but that doesn...
Abstract: Heres one of the most elegant and beautiful WiMo devices available on the market, the HTC Touch Diamond. When it was announced earlier this year I was amazed by the beauty of this little beast, but wondered how nice this PDA phone would actually be. Y...

Abstract: No question, so far Windows Mobile smartphone cameras were pretty basic and users mostly got 1.3 megapixel cameras only or - if lucky - a 2 megapixel camera with fixfocus. However, with the recent launched and upcoming new Windows Mobile smartphones, t...
