Slimmer than HTC Touch
Its predecessor
It does not need a memory card slot because of its 4 GB internal storage.
It has a higher VGA display resolution than its predecessor or the iPhone.
This is a great looking touch interface phone and all of the Windows Mobile bells and whistles
This US version has removed many of the issues that seemed to plague the Euro version
Plenty of ROM and RAM
As well as a 4GB internal drive

TouchFLO 3D is good enough to compete with Apple’s acclaimed interface

The editors didn't like
The screen attracts a lot of fingerprints making it look oily and unclean.
I have to complain about the Weather program yet again…there
I’m done
Battery life seems worse than expected
Hope that 4GB is enough for you
As there is no expansion slot
Occasionally sluggish interface
Small keyboard
Extremely slow
To the point of being unusable
The 3D TouchFLO interface is not very user friendly.Look and Feel...
Keyboard blocks some menus
Expensive
Mediocre battery life
No microSD slot
Dismal battery life. TouchFLO is inconsistent in spots. Subpar video playback. No memory card slot. Gets very hot during calls (more so than the iPhone).
Still a "confused" UI
Requires switches between dpad
Finger
And stylus input.
Sluggish performance at times
No expansion card slot
Small QWERTY onscreen keyboard
Stylus is a virtual requirement for accessing certain parts of the user interface
Landscape mode is underutilized and landscape QWERTY availability is far too rare
Some minor integration flaws between Windows Mobile 6.1 and TouchFLO 3D
No memory exp...
Its too expensive. The smartphone is also slow.
Despite more memory
It still lags at time
HTC music player needs work
Concerns about reception
At least for now
Thicker and heavier than the original
TouchFLO 3D is only skin deep
Keyboard is still a pain to use
Which makes messaging and productivity apps more difficult. Reception problems hurt data-intensive services
HTC has come closer to the iPhone here than any other handset manufacturer. It's the best-looking Touch yet, with a more responsive touch wheel and five-way joypad, plus a handy stylus. Specs and features-wise, the Diamond is amply loaded -...
The 2.8-inch touch screen, while compatible with HTC's TouchFLO interface (which lets you flick through screens or photos by swiping your fingertip) is still a fair way behind the iPhone's interface, and the touch sensitivity isn't as accurate...
If the aim is the iPhone 3G, then HTC so nearly struck gold. Or diamond. Only a few niggles meant that this just fell short of the ultra-phone.Best offers for the HTC Touch DiamondeBay.co.uk £229.99 Amazon Marketplace £239.99 HTC Touch Diamond i...

Abstract: On paper the Touch Diamond is a desirable device. Some of this desirability remains in the real world, but the poor battery life is the biggest of several irritations. The Touch Diamond was first made available SIM-free, but network operators are pick...
Abstract: we cant help but feel let down by the HTC Touch Diamond. It looks wonderful and the touch-screen interface simply sparkles, but sadly the usability just isnt there, with the touch-screen proving more a hindrance than a blessing. In addition after us...

Very poor battery life, TouchFLO 3D runs slowly and is not always well integrated with Windows Mobile, No expansion slot, No keyboard
HTCs Touch Diamond crams a multitude of features into a compact and stylish device, topped off by a flashy user interface. However, the TouchFLO 3D interface has too many rough edges and the battery life is terrible...
The HTC Touch Diamond is a nice phone with a better camera than the 3iPhone 3G and other extras that will help make it a good rival, as long as HTC is able to spread its new Taiwan price of £50 to other parts of the world. Dan Nystedt Lowest online p...
A true Diamond in the rough. The latest HTC device has some great features and some real thought has been put into its interface but there’s no doubt that it more hamstrung than helped by its Windows Mobile background. Despite the excellent3D interf...
The Touch Diamond may not be perfect, but its small, light, well equipped and comes with a smooth, clever and reliable 3D user interface that looks great and keeps you well away from Windows Mobile. The screen and web browser are both particularly fi...
