Smooth TouchFLO UI
Fast video streaming from YouTube
Beautiful handset design
Excellent call quality
With a cool design and the TouchFLO system
This new Touch is quite a looker.
The HTC Touch Dual features a slide-out 20-key QWERTY keyboard. Its also the first smartphone to ship with Windows Mobile 6.1 in the States and supports HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0.
Beautiful and elegant design
Effective TouchFlo function
3G (UMTS/HSDPA) support
Best HTC Touch weve seen
With SureType keyboard. Easy tethered modem support. Calls sound good
Nice address book features.
Great feel
Easy touch accessibility
The editors didn't like
Slightly smaller screen
Keypad buttons hard to use for speedtexting
No Wi-Fi or GPS. Weak software bundle. Cumbersome Windows Mobile 6 interface lurks just underneath the TouchFLO surface.
Noticeable lag when opening and closing apps
Not a full QWERTY keyboard
Camera occasionally freezes
No 3.5mm headset jack
3G it may be
But the lack of Wi-Fi stands out like a sore thumb.
The Touch Dual lacks Wi-Fi and GPS. Theres no standard audio jack
And its pricey.
Mediocre playback quality
Lack of WiFi
Not a global phone
Keys a bit rickety. Lacks IM clients. Still not as slick or responsive as the iPhone.
As usual for an HTC device nowadays, the HTC Touch Dual is a very polished device, but unlike the original Touch – this phone is actually useful. The new bits and peices of software and utilities that HTC keep adding and improving set this apart fro...

Faster processor; HSDPA; new one-click access menu
Keypad looks plasticky; lack of Wi-Fi
If youre an HTC Touch fan, then youll like the Duals mechanical keypad that makes texting and dialling a lot easier, plus the new shortcut menus. HSDPA means much faster access to the Internet, and the faster processor and more RAM means that it do...
The Touch Dual certainly addresses the complaints levelled at the Touch, but the fixes arent without compromise. So while both the keyboard and 3G support are welcome, the lack of Wi-Fi is not. ...
Abstract: In terms of raw specifications the Touch Dual doesnt raise the bar, but TouchFLO is nice and the handset design will appeal to many people looking for some style in their smartphone. HTC - Touch Dual price Buy HTC Touch Dual securely online at a barg...
3G HSDPA compatibility, Vastly improved touchscreen, Slide out keypad, Combination of touchscreen and keypad control, Slim shape
No Wi-Fi, Camera could be better, Heavier than the original HTC Touch
Beating the much-discussed iPhone to market by a couple of months, HTCs Touch offered a large touch-sensitive screen with phone, camera and all the flexibility of a Windows Mobile operating system.Groovy little mover though it was, its screen just was...
TouchFLO system and HTC Home screen, 3G/HSDPA support, Windows Mobile 6 Professional
Lacks WiFi, Direct text entry in bulk is difficult, TouchFLO doesn’t work with the screen in landscape mode
The Touch Dual retains its predecessors sleek design, adding a slide-out keypad and 3G/HSDPA connectivity. Unfortunately, HTC couldnt find room for Wi-Fi as well...
Improved screen, Office tools very functional, Helpful keypad, Can open attachments
Slow and sluggish, Touchscreen doesnt work properly, Slow speed undermines TouchFLO, ActiveSync doesnt work properly, Bad battery life, No Wi-fi
HTC Touch was pitted as one of the iPhone killers. It was also, as we found out, one of HTCs quirkiest launches. However, soon after the original design failure (do read the previous review, if you want to know what I am talking about) word got around...
Abstract: At first glance, it looks almost like the HTC Touch, but compare it side-by-side and you'll see that the Touch Dual is slightly longer, wider & just a smidgen thicker. But that little extra bulk does give you a slide out keypad keeping most of th...
