The editors didn't like

  • Not the most accurate form of BMI measure
  • Costs more than a regular scale (obviously)
  • Sometimes acts flaky if you try to weigh several times in a row
  • Glass is streakprone and hard to clean (even with Windex!) Noticeably larger squarefootage than a lot of analog scales. Plastic feet bottoms look cheap and come with adhesive that's weaker than Harold Wormser (front middle). It's still 0
  • Mirror surface gets dirty quickly
  • Expensive
  • Hard to keep clean
  • Not recommended for people with pacemakers
  • Takes the reading a bit too fast
  • I’m not sure how many people will actually use the “social embarrassment” aspects of the device Every time you submit our site
  • An Angel gets its wings.

  • Are there some ways in which the Withings scale (and its corresponding services) could be improved? Yes. For one, some users within your household might want to keep their weight data to themselves and not share it with the whole family all the time. ...

  • Abstract:  But if the idea of tracking your weight with some degree of automation is of interest, the Withings Connected Scale may have some conceptual appeal. Cosmetically, it looks like an iMac-inspired digital scale with similar styling—an all-glass top surfa...
