The editors liked
Brilliant real-time strategy gameplay is perfectly balanced and infinitely complex
Varied single-player campaign
Doesn't require previous expansions
Co-op modes ease in new players
Gorgeous cinematics
Legacy of the Void continues with the same solid gameplay that StarCraft II has had since the initial release in 2010. Additions to the online mode should also reinvigorate the game and the new Archon mode offers a chance for the less experienced to learn
Delightfully campy campaign
Excellent mission structure and pacing
Technically masterful
Improved accessibility
More than 20 new campaign missions
Six new multiplayer units
Two new game modes
Fitting end to the StarCraft story
An exciting end to an epic story. RTS gameplay just as good as ever
Fantastic storyline sews up the trio of games
Archon and co-op modes are welcome additions
New units bring new tactics
But still instantly familiar gameplay
Campaign worth playing at least twice
Daily tournaments
The editors didn't like
Altered multiplayer pace may be divisive
Lower price reflects smaller amount of new content
The story of StarCraft II has been deteriorating from the start and here it only gets worse
Being simply bad at best with terrible writing. The other major complaint is that I don't see how the game has changed enough to justify this being a full priced
Competitive play is brutally complex
Sound and graphics largely unchanged

More than 20 new campaign missions, Six new multiplayer units, Two new game modes, Fitting end to the StarCraft story
Sound and graphics largely unchanged
Legacy of the Void delivers a fitting ending for the storyline of StarCraft II, with an engaging intergalactic space opera that's a refreshing change from the sometimes overly soapy plot of the previous expansion pack, Heart of the Swarm. The two-player A...
